Licensing & disclosures
Understand the role of the agency, carriers, markets, and website.
These disclosures clarify the professional role and limitations of Rothberg Specialty. State-specific requirements should be confirmed before launch.
Agency identity
Rothberg Specialty is a trade name used by Alternative Habitational Insurance Solutions, LLC, a privately held retail insurance agency based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Insurance agency—not insurer
Rothberg Specialty does not itself underwrite insurance or pay claims as an insurer. Coverage is issued by the identified insurance company or companies and is subject to their policy terms, underwriting, financial condition, and claims administration.
Licensing footprint
Rothberg Specialty represents that it is licensed in 48 states, has completed client work in more than 34, and currently emphasizes 16 core markets. Licensing details are available upon request. Product and carrier availability may be narrower than the agency’s licensing footprint.
Admitted and non-admitted markets
Depending on the risk and jurisdiction, insurance may be placed with admitted insurers or eligible surplus-lines / non-admitted insurers. Non-admitted placements can involve different regulatory oversight, taxes, fees, filing requirements, insolvency protections, and guaranty-fund treatment. The applicable proposal and required disclosures should be reviewed before binding.
Carrier financial-strength references
Any rating reference is based on the rating organization and date identified in the applicable proposal. Ratings are opinions, can change, and are not guarantees of claim payment. Verify the current rating and insurer identity before placement.
Compensation
Rothberg Specialty may receive commission from insurers or intermediaries and may receive fees or other compensation where permitted and agreed. The nature of compensation can vary by transaction, market, service, and jurisdiction. Required disclosures and client agreements control.
Wholesale brokers, MGAs, and program administrators
Some placements may involve wholesalers, managing general agents, program administrators, or other intermediaries. They may receive compensation and perform underwriting, policy, premium, or administrative functions depending on the arrangement.
Coverage summaries
Website descriptions and comparison materials are not policies and do not create coverage. The complete policy and endorsements control. Examples are illustrative unless identified as a specific historical result.
No web binding or cancellation
Do not rely on a website form or email to bind, amend, renew, or cancel coverage. Obtain authorized written confirmation.
Claims
Potential claims and circumstances should be reported according to the applicable policy and agreed service procedures. Website contact does not constitute notice to an insurer unless expressly confirmed in writing by an authorized party.
Case studies and testimonials
Historical outcomes are not typicality promises or guarantees. Results depend on risk facts, policy period, market, coverage, deductible, carrier, underwriting, timing, and comparison methodology.
Professional boundaries
Rothberg Specialty may identify insurance implications and coordinate with other professionals but does not provide legal, tax, accounting, engineering, lending, reserve-study, or other professional advice outside its authorized insurance role.
